The Old Quebec (30 minutes walking)
Renown UNESCO world heritage, enjoy a walk in the narrow streets of the Old Quebec
or at les Plaines d’Abraham, witnesses of the History of Quebec City.
Orleans Island (10 km far)
Right in the middle of the Saint Lawrence River, the first colonist architecture
can be discovered as well as typical farmers’ products and surprising landscapes.
Montmorency Falls (10 km far)
A beautiful park with its suspension bridge, its cable car, its Manor House. There
is some 500 stairs to stretch your legs and warm up and of course a little shower
at the bottom of the falls. You can go by bike as a cycling track brings you there
directly from the Inn, it’s a 20 kilometers ride.
The Domaine Maizeret (10 min walk from the Inn)
The second largest park in Quebec. It covers 66.7 acres of land and has a gorgeous,
old building dating back to 1705. You can go there either for a picnic, a nice walk
or a lovely afternoon reading in a green setting among birds and squirrels.
The Mont-St-Anne and the Côte-de-Beaupré region (20 min drive from the Inn)
The Côte-de-Beaupré runs alongside the Saint Lawrence River in the East of Quebec.
Major attraction spots are worth seeing along this historical path such as the Musée
de L’Abeille, the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Shrine, the Mont-Sainte-Anne (mountain
bike, skiing, hiking…) and at the far end you will find the National Cap Tourmente
Park with a splendid view on the Côte-de-Charlevoix.
The Hurons-Wendat Village
Museum, shows, traditional arts, souvenirs shops,… The Huron-Wendat Community will
show you its know-how and history. Interesting and colorful discoveries are o be
done…
